American-based sunglasses manufacturer, Maui Jim, is marketed to consumers worldwide. Beginning in 1980 as a small company, they sold sunglasses on the beach in Maui. Since there was an obvious need for technology that could battle intense glare and harmful UV. It was important to include the brilliant colors of the island life to the sunglasses as well.
