Collection: Aris

A European fine leather company for gloves and knit accessories became very popular in the early 20th century. Isotoner began in 1910 by founding the Aris Glove Company. The name Isotoner was made by combining the words "isometric" and "toning". Aris was very innovative and creative. Moving to the United States is what boomed Aris' gloves. 

Aris launched collections of gloves unlike other gloves being made then. In the 1970s, Aris was using fabrics in gloves no one else had thought to use. Gloves were made from nylon/spandex fabric with leather trims. This gave each glove immense stretch in all four directions.
