Havana Collection
With the restrictions lifted on travel and trade, more and more people are travelling to the Caribbean island and returning with beautiful handmade jewelry from the variety of shops and street vendors. Decades after the country’s days as one of the world’s major diamond-polishing centers in the ‘40s, jewelry makers in the region now have a wide variety of materials to choose from. Resin, tusk, horn, and coral tend to be the most popular, with the substance's natural colorings being favored. Corals, however, are more vibrant than the others and boast a multitude of saturated hues that entice tourists and residents alike.
