Collection: Jules Jurgensen
Jules Jurgensen and his partner Isaac Larpent established a watch-making business in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1740. In the early years, the business made chronometers for the Royal Danish government. Jules Jurgensen's grandson Jules opened a branch of the company in Switzerland while his great-grandson Louis Urban Jurgensen managed the Danish part of the business. Jules Jurgensen watches were produced in Switzerland until 1957. The brand was sold to the American businessman Mort Clayman in 1974. His company assembled competitively priced watches from imported parts.
