Luxboheme was born in 2009. Back then, it was a collection co-created with global artisans, bridging my creative direction with their traditional grit and resilience. I co-created with artisans from around the world who shared a common thread of grit, resilience, and second chance.
This curated collection combines jewelry and accessory pieces handmade by underserved communities around the world, in addition to clothes made in the USA from organic textiles. From 2010 until this year, this collection has been "sleeping" in storage, waiting to be brought back into the light.
Now that we are in our new home, the trunk is open. Luxboheme is back, but it has matured and pivoted. It is no longer just a curated selection; it is a full-circle collaborative effort. We are bringing back these original global treasures alongside new, transformed, and upcycled designs made by our staff, our students, and our entire fashion community. Every piece sold supports our sustainable fashion education programs and workforce development.

I have always been a chameleon. My style, my work, and my world are constantly shifting, but two fearless spirits have always anchored me: my grandmother, Mathilde Farre, and my favorite musician Rita Lee. They taught me that being exactly who you are is the only way to have freedom. It’s because of them that I started wearing seven bracelets on my wrist every single day—a ritual of protection, memory, and playfulness that became the heart of everything I do. (You can read the full story of the bracelets on my About page).
Jewelry was my first love in the world of fashion. Before the clothes, before the school, there was the hunt. I’ve always loved and collected clothes deeply, but jewelry is… extra special. I think it’s because it can go anywhere with me. Even when my luggage is bursting and I can't fit one more dress, I can always find room for a piece of history. If I have to wear a uniform, I can still choose my kind of jewelry. It is the one thing that connects me instantly to the stories, the people, the cultures, and the times of every place I’ve ever traveled.
The Power of 7 is my personal look at the treasures I’ve found while traveling the world. These pieces are about people, connection, history, and the simple joy of being one-of-a-kind.
My wish is for you to wear these pieces fearlessly. May they empower your unique voice and travel with you through all the versions of who you are.
Yours in Fashion,
Priscila
