True Vintage Millinery, c.1940-50s.
Very good vintage condition (although it could use dry clean as it has makeup marks inside the rim/ face forehead), no damage, nothing missing, all authentic, genuine, functional and ready to wear!
talkingfashion: Designed by Lillly Dache whose career as a French Milliner/Fashion Designer lasted from the late 1930s through her retirement in 1969. She apprenticed under Caroline Reboux and Suzanne Talbot and was the most famous milliner in the US during her time. Her hats can be seen in classic films and were worn by many leading ladies of the era and are now highly valued collectors items.
