Life at Summer Fashion Camp is a rhythmic rotation of deep focus and collective energy. In between the hours spent at the machine constructing (or perhaps deconstructing and painting an old dress) their individual visions, our makers step into super fun Fashion Challenges. Working in teams, they must use their shared grit to execute rapid-fire designs under pressure—learning that the strongest masterpieces are often born from collaboration.
When the sun is high and the air is clear, we take our inspiration outdoors. Weather permitting, the collective walks to the Columbus Museum of Art for a lunch break in their gardens. It’s a moment to reset the soul, breathe in the local artistry, and return to our studio with a fresh signal for the afternoon’s creations.
