Before the party ends, the birthday child handstitches a personal thank-you tag onto each guest's creation. Not a sticker. Not a goody bag. A permanent piece of them, on something made together.
The Fashion Birthday Party
Come to us at Dear Garment House, 1217 Grandview Ave. The studio is set up and ready: machines, fabric, instructors, great playlist. Every guest makes their own project and takes it home. Choose by group size. Bigger groups get more studio time and more instructors, so every project gets finished.

Every guest picks their own project.
Each child chooses what they want to make, plus their own fabrics and findings. All projects are sewing machine projects. Our instructors guide every guest from start to finish, and no experience is needed.

Take-Home Kit
A mini sewing kit or an embroidery kit for each guest, so the making keeps going at home. Choose sewing or embroidery for every guest.
The Birthday Original
A one-of-a-kind piece made just for the birthday child, finished before the party so they can wear it on the big day.
Cake & Celebration
We set up the celebration table and handle the cleanup. Cake comes after the machines are put away, so every project gets finished first.

How booking works.
Email us
Send the date, the birthday child's age, and how many guests. Book 3 weeks ahead so we can prepare for your group.
We confirm
We check availability and send your deposit link.
Hold your date
A 50% deposit confirms your date ($250, $425, or $600 depending on group size).
Final headcount
Due 5 days before. It sets your party time and price. Balance is due day-of.

Do they need sewing experience?
None. Our instructors guide every guest step by step. Every machine has speed controls.
How do I choose the right size?
Count every guest, including the birthday child. More guests means more projects to finish, so larger parties get more studio time and more instructors.
What if my headcount changes?
Your final headcount is due 5 days before the party and sets your party time and price. The maximum is 12 guests, and we can't add guests on the day.
Is this only for girls?
Not at all. Fashion and making are for everyone. We welcome all children and guests. And it's not just for kids: we can host any age group. Bring your BFFs, your girls' night, your squad, or make it a couples' hangout or date night. If your crew wants to make something fabulous together, we've got a spot for you.
Can you come to us?
Yes. Private home parties are available by request with custom pricing, and we can travel outside Columbus too. Email us for availability and details.
