What to expect
Human connection and great memories while turning waste into wonder. Whether your Fashion Artist is five, fifteen, fifty or ninety-five, whether you're a parent, a grandparent, or simply someone who believes creativity is worth showing up for, there's a seat (and probably a sewing machine) with your name on it.
- Afterschool, Summer Camps & School-Break Camps — Full weeks of designing, sewing, and discovering. Kids leave with garments they made and confidence they'll keep.
- Runway Shows & Special Events — The main stage. Young designers present work they made with their own hands, from first sketch to final walk. Family, friends, and all their VIP guests are invited to cheer them home.
- Fashion Lab Days & Workshops— Half-day or Full-day deep dives into making. Perfect first taste of the Academy.
- Field Trips & Special Experiences — Behind-the-scenes visits, gallery-to-garment challenges, Film screenings, and adventures that connect fashion to the wider world.
- Fashion Community Gatherings — Mend in Public Days, Puppet Show Performances, Fashion Sustainability Talks and a variety of meetings where our fashion community comes together. Everyone welcome.

From high-energy community rallies like Mend in Public to intimate family gatherings and puppet shows, our calendar is a mix of open doors and private milestones. Whether we are celebrating our non-profit partners or hosting a private circle of friends, the magic travels with us. Every event is a manifestation of the grit and heartbeat that makes our "Wear What You Love" movement entirely unique.
Our events are where the 'Back Door' rebellion meets the community. We believe in the power of gathering—sometimes for a public fashion heist, and other times for a private celebration of our collective growth.
