Growing up in Brazil, I spent weekends browsing street markets, chatting with artisans on beaches, wandering through village fairs—meeting makers who taught me that craft is never just about the object. From the northwest Amazon to the southeast coastal cities of Porto Alegre, I've built relationships with independent artists and small collectives who are doing more than making beautiful work—they're building community.
