All my excitement and expectations over this exhibit were a spot on match: Rich, wonderful and all the good things in between!!

Granted yes, I'm a bit bias, as I have admired their work for a long time...

It all started with Ruben's fascinating and so very unique illustrations for Nordstrom. They were published in Vogue around the late 90s/early 2000s.

Back then I had the pleasure to meet him while representing Nordstrom during a private dinner party in Columbus, OH. The night was a delight... Cuba - Colors - Fashion - Texture - Design - Drawing - Style and so much more interesting conversations..

They did a terrific job putting this together! Great work! If you are in town, make sure to go see it. Happening now thru 6.18.2017

The Naga people of Northeast India and Northwest Burma are a conglomeration of different tribes, united under the “Naga”. The jewelry and beadwork for which they are known have been considered by some scholars to be the “most beautiful, elaborate ornamentations of any tribal culture”, I have to agree with that statement! 

Another fascinating element about the Naga Jewelry is the fact that their ornamentations are not mere decoration – they’re a part of the wearer’s identity and that of the tribe to which the wearer belongs.

Some of you already know that I have been selling on different marketplaces for over a decade. One of these online markets, has this great "treasury" feature which promote their merchants. I always loved the concept, mainly because it pushes for so much creativity. I love to see the different angles of how people put things together.

Yesterday I was reading Vogue's review on the show, and I could not agree more with their comments. OMG where to start? It was incredible and crazy good all over!!

Despite the fact that I only have a couple of Gucci pieces in my closet...I would happily wear most of the pieces from this collection; most of all the stunning dresses and all of the amazing accessories! I loved all the colors (monochromatic looks or eclectic mix ones), the design, the silhouette, the fabrics...oh you name it, I am in love...

Since a very early age I always loved playing with many accessories. I am constantly encouraging everyone out there (who wants to play with fashion), to find their inspiration and allow themselves to experiment with fashion. Wear playful looks anytime you feel playful!
